Sarah Imrisek (she/her) makes art in the streets and with the community in and around Tkaronto. Her work upends traditional boundaries, blending interactive media installations, live coding performances, murals, and canvases, all while engaging with the community.
Infused with vibrant colors and hallucinatory elements, her art seeks inspiration from nature to find pathways to personal and collective healing after trauma.
Rooted in the legacies of avant-garde art and liberation movements, Sarah's practice explores the transformative power of creative play, inviting us to reimagine our connections to ourselves, our communities, and the land we inhabit.
